The Leadership Development Programme is intended for all NJC students to:

¨         learn about the competencies, knowledge, traits and behaviours expected in servant leaders;
¨         learn about the path to leadership;
¨         want to be student leaders and participate in leadership opportunities beyond the College;
¨         understand the various levels of leadership and want to participate in International Leadership Conferences;
¨         have a platform for demonstrating leadership and project management skills;
¨         gain interest in, and be inspired to consider serving the nation through holding a leadership position.

This leadership series is also intended for all NJC Student Leaders to:

¨         meet and be inspired by ex-NJCians who are leaders in their fields;
¨         learn about the passion, experiences and beliefs which have made them leaders in their chosen professions;
¨         learn about their paths to leadership;
¨         understand the importance of taking up leadership positions to better serve the wider community; and
¨         to be inspired to serve the nation through holding a leadership position.
