NJC Leadership Development Programme

National Junior College has developed a comprehensive Leadership Development Programme in collaboration with partners, including the Parliament House Education Office, and is supported by members of the NJC Alumni.  2007 is the pilot run of this programme.

Participants

The participants of this programme are JC 1 and 2 NJC student-leaders and potential scholarship holders from the Integrated Programme and the Junior College section.

Aim of Programme

The aim of the programme is to provide an avenue for NJC students to understand governance and politics in the Singapore context.  This will enable NJC to better achieve the desired outcome of producing successful members of society who are ready and willing to step forward to serve the nation as leaders who serve with sensitivity and honour.  This aim is achieved by providing participants with the opportunity to engage in discussions with each other on issues of national concern, in dialogues with top civil servants and politicians, as well as in experiential learning activities.
